Children’s Services
We offer a wide range of services to meet every type of need from bespoke project teams to supporting with one-off and ad hoc independent assessments. We can add resource in either capacity to address pressure points and gaps in service. Our flexible approach means we enhance efficiencies and ensure you are working to timescales whilst making cost savings.
Independent Assessments: At Flex360, we firmly believe that getting assessments right from the outset has a lasting impact upon a child and their families lives. We give our clients access to experienced social work practitioners who have a proven track record undertaking high quality, time sensitive, child-centred holistic assessments.
Bespoke Project Teams: We take full ownership of projects, from team selection and management, through to implementation, measurement and reporting. We provide dedicated management, quality assurance and business support on every project to ensure outcomes for children and families meet and exceed expectation. Our practitioners work in partnership with families and professionals to complete holistic assessments which not only identify risks, but also consider strengths and create safety.
Flex360 Practice Model: We will always adopt the standard assessment framework used by local authorities. However, our managers and practitioners understand that a good assessment is one that not only captures the voice and needs of the child but articulates them very clearly within the assessment. We provide our practitioners with a range of assessment tools to help their understanding of needs, risks, and resilience factors, whilst providing an evidence-based approach to our work
Strengths-based approach: Ensuring our practitioners work in partnership with families and professionals to complete a holistic assessment which not only identifies risk, but also considers strengths and creates safety.
Relationship-based practice: Our practitioners understand the importance of building effective relationship with children and families, whilst supporting them to nurture safe and healthy relationships within their networks but recognise when families may need support to reconnect or establish safe relationships.
Trauma informed practice: Practitioners recognise the impact of trauma and are therefore better able to develop a more therapeutic approach to their practice whilst working with the individual to assess the most appropriate support to help the individual to acknowledge, overcome or develop skills to manage the impact of their trauma.
