CIN and LAC Managed Service Children’s Team and independent assessments

Gloucestershire County Council required a social work partner to manage the Children In Need cases due to the constant increase in incumbent social workers caseloads.

Flex360 were chosen as a partner to help champion change and best practice, and to deliver high quality front-line social work as part of their improvement programme.

There was also a requirement to support with a variety of ad hoc children’s assessments. All assessments are overseen, supervised and quality assured by our in-house HoS for Children’s. A member of management shared during feedback that “communication was excellent throughout, and the process was seamless. The work was completed within a very fast timescale and was done well before the agreed timeframe. Whilst done quickly, the quality of the report was still good and addressed what it needed to do. The assessment was in line with our own concerns and worries, so these had been picked up on well during the assessment period”.
