Flex360 submitted a tender to Essex County Council in early 2023 and were subsequently awarded this contract. It was agreed that Flex360 would be allocated a cohort of referrals each month which would fluctuate in number from anywhere between 100 and 150. We were asked to complete forms 3 and 4 with the BIA undertaking the Mental Capacity Assessment. Flex triaged all work and allocated to experienced assessors that form part of our bespoke talent pool. All work is quality assured and we meet with the client weekly to report on allocations, quality and other management information requested. The DoLS Co-ordinator provided a single point of contact for project delivery. The project manager and DoLS Coordinator attended, where required the review/performance meetings and were responsible for providing data, submitting assessments and addressing any queries that arose. To date we have completed over 2,000 assessments for Essex to timescale.
